Globe of the World Parts

A painted globe on a wooden stand with the continents represented in different colours. The wooden base of the globe holds the globe at the same angle as the Earth's axis in relation to the Sun.

This product is assembled from two parts. The globe spins freely on its base once the pole is inserted into the opening at the bottom of the globe.

The purpose of this material is to introduce the child to the concept of the Earth being divided into continents. Builds on the knowledge gained from the sandpaper Globe of Land and Water.

Features

• Globe diameter: about 16 cm (6 1/3 in).
• Our base's pole is extra long so that the globe does not come off accidentally during use.
• Note: Colours may not exactly match our Puzzle Map of World Parts.

Recommended ages: 3–6 years.
