Long Red Rods

Ten solid long red wooden rods that are constant in height and width (2.5 cm) while graduated in length from 10 cm to 1 m.

This series of rods helps develop visual discrimination of length, while height and width remain constant. Activities with these rods prepare the child for working with The Number Rods, as well as other mathematical concepts.

We have a Wooden Stand for storage and display, and Pattern Cards (PDF) for working with this set.
