Long Red Rods

Ten solid long red wooden rods that are constant in height and width (2.5 cm) while graduated in length from 10 cm to 1 m.

This series of rods helps develop visual discrimination of length, while height and width remain constant. Activities with these rods prepare the child for working with The Number Rods, as well as other mathematical concepts.

We have a Wooden Stand to store and display this set, and Pattern Cards (PDF) to work with this set.

Recommended ages: 3 years and up.
